The vision is to create the first Macallan  Lounge in Travel Retail providing ultimate comfort and privacy for the Macallan lovers. A new VIP area, a private space, where consumers enjoy their Macallan.

The lounge area will be located at the Ben Gourion airport of Israel, in a whisky and cigar bar within the Duty Free Area. Our aim is to create a space where, besides the taste and smell of Macallan, the outstanding interior of the room gives a new experience, a pleasant and relaxing moment to the Macallan drinkers while they are travelling.

The concept of the architecture design, the materials and colours used, the lighting study and the shapes  are inspired by the brand guidelines of the Macallan. The combining of the finest oak wood, a variety of the whisky colours, gold details and the delicate shape of the Macallan bottles will make the new Macallan lounge area uniquely special. Parallel lines are running through the space, creating a character and they distinguish the function of each section.

The linear design differentiates the 3 basic purposes of the lounge.
1.    The seating area
2.    The display area
3.    The Bar

The display area is connecting the seating and the serving area. We have designed a one-piece corner sofa, shelving, library, a bar, display area and a lit graphic wall. The high quality of the materials and the lighting study of the room are reflecting the premium nature of the brand. The use of the shape of the Macallan bottles, as cuts, on the semi-transparent Plexiglas material on the wall is creating a piece of art.
