The house on the roof has a contemporary character, with unobstructed views to the City, maximum sunlight, adequate privacy and transparency. The use of glazing of the house brings nature into the interior, connecting the outside with the inside. In this way, we bring light into the house and foster a sense of harmony with the natural surrounding. By carefully selecting solid and trasparent surfaces, the view becomes “framed” and the interior space is always visually conncected with the view.

The extension cover all the existing area separated into two sections, the private section consists of the Bedrooms and common section consists of the Living Area, the Kitchen and the exterior Verandas. The two sections connected with a common Veranda and a corridor  between them. All the main spaces have access to the Verandas. However, these spaces are directly connected to each either from inside or outside.

Directing focus towards the View
The primary concept is to direct the focus towards the main view of the city, as well as the maximum sunlight.

The  outdoor spaces, including the Verandas with Barbecue Area and little Gardens are very important elements, as the position of each one becomes part of the interior living area. Located one in every direction, to be able to have access in every view of the city. The bigger Veranda is the most important feature, as it blends the interior with the exterior and brings light and nature into the house. The outdoor spaces appear to be extending out of the interior spaces.
