The site of the project is an advantageous yet complicated plot, with views to the sea and the city of Limassol, and a challenging elongated shape that also involves some height differences. It is located on a hill in Agios Athanasios next to an existing building. The main challenge is dealing with the neighboring plot which is overlooking on our site. To solve this problem, we have created a long barrier-wall that provides privacy while simultaneously allowing maximum possible views towards the sea and the landscape. This boundary is further emphasized through the enclosed patio at ground level which is defined by two elements of water.

On the ground floor, the functions of the house are divided in two volumes. The northeast one houses the main entrance , the dining room and the luxurious living space while the southwest one accommodates the kitchen,  the secondary sitting area and the outdoor living space such as BBQ and bonfire. Around the living area an enclosed garden is situated that becomes a landscape for the client. The middle of this space is crossed by an elongated pool that seem to float through the house. A glass facade, stretching from east to west, demarcates the living area.

The first floor is designed in a L shape that overlooks the exterior areas and the swimming pool. The first floor is conceptually divided into two sectors - on the east side the Master Bedroom, on the west side the kids bedrooms. Around the bedrooms, wooden vertical louvers are placed that allow the early sunlight get inside the house and reduce the heat from harsh sunlight during summer. On the upper level an attic is created providing a comfortable living area where the family can enjoy a luxurious wellness in privacy and overlook the view of the sea and the city.

Exterior spaces are treated with the same attention and notion as the interior spaces. Outdoor living spaces are incorporated in the landscape. The elongated swimming pool extends from the living room till the kitchen and a concrete envelope wraps the building, defining the levels of the shaped plot and giving adequate privacy.
